Hurra, fertig geschnitten! - Hurray !! Pruning is ready

Today, 26th of February 2007 at 16.50 p.m. the last vine, a Grenache, was pruned by Mattieu.

We started the pruning the 15th of November 2006 with the Tempranillo and after 717 hours
of work we ended it the 26th of Februari 2007.

We count 3800 vines a hectare, so with 14 hectares we come to 53.200 vines. If you should line them up with a distance of 1 metre, you get a longitude of 53,2 kilometres. That means to walk from us to Montpellier. (The pruning is just a one time walking, we walk this line several times a year.)

It is easy to understand we seized this opportunity to drink a nice glass of Domaine Bourdic Rosé.
